For Christmas Eve I wanted my eyes to be the focus of the look so I went with a green smokey eye using the following products:

  • Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Wheat
  • Lorac Pro Palette 2
    • Charcoal and Cool Gray in the crease
    • Lt. Brown in the upper crease
    • Buff for the browbone highlight
    • Jade on the lid
    • Black for the outer corner
  • Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Black as a base for the lid
  • Ardency Inn Modster Manuka Honey Enriched Pigment in Peacock on the lid over Jade
  • Urban Decay 24/7 Water Proof Liquid Eyeliner
  • Covergirl Clump Clusher

Mini review of the products:

Laura Mercier base performed well leaving no trace of creasing
Ardency Inn Enriched Pigment in Peacock is stunning! At the end of the night, I just kept looking at how gorgeous this color was on the lid. It’s beautiful, long wearing, and highly pigmented. I will soon do a separate post about this product with swatches.
Urban Decay 24/7 Water Proof Liquid Eyeliner started out as a good liner with an easy brush to make thin lines. After a few months of use, the eyeliner isn’t nearly as dark as it used to be and the container itself has become extremely messy. The liquid dries up all over the top of the opening leaving clumps and makes it hard to close. Since there’s clumps you tend to get your hands full of eyeliner when you try to close the container. The eyeliner is definitely not waterproof and can be smudged off. After a while the eyeliner starts to flake off and it’s just horrible. One of the worst liquid liners I have ever used in my life. Would not recommend.
Lorac Pro Palette 2 is a blessing in disguise. It is a great palette with a great amount of mattes, shimmers, and a few pops of colors. This palette is more on the cool toned side but still great regardless. The shadows are buttery, easy to blend & build up, and the shadows are all opaque.
Covergirl Clump Crusher is a decent mascara. It does lengthen my lashes but I don’t see that much volume compared to other mascaras I’ve tried. Not sure if I’ll be repurchasing after this one runs out.
Rimmel Kajal Pencil is a good opaque eyeliner. The formula glides easily on the skin but I’ve noticed that it tends to smear quickly on the lower lash line.

Since these pictures were taken towards the end of the night, most of my blush and bronzer barely showing up because they had mostly faded. I wanted to keep the lips fairly neutral so I used a Color Sensational Lipliner by Maybelline in the shade Toast. I am in LOVE with this lipliner. I absolutely love the color and I see myself wearing this liner at all times.

Hope you enjoyed this look! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. Peace to the outt!
