As Disney obsessed as I am, I HAD to get these lipsticks that Disney collaborated with Colourpop to create! They are a part of the Colourpop Disney Designer Collection. I was able to only get these three because the rest had sold out. I was most excited for Ariel and Belle since those are the shades I usually wear on a daily basis. The lipsticks are from the Crème Lux formula so they are extremely creamy and glide on without a problem.
Colourpop’s images on their website for Belle did catch my attention because in their images Belle is MUCH cooler toned, almost a dusty mauve than the lipstick that I had in my hands. However, in real life Belle is more warm and leans more towards red. The other two shades do match more or less the swatches Colourpop has on their website.
If you have any dry or chapped areas, just know that they will be slightly emphasized with these. The lipsticks are moisturizing so they won’t make your lips even drier. Overall, I like them and see myself buying the last three from the collection. Oh, and the lipstick packaging is the cutest!! It has all the signatures of the princesses which I thought was really unique.
The lipsticks cost $7 individually and are sold as a kit called “Kiss the Girl” for $42. Lipsticks weren’t the only thing that were released in the Colourpop Disney Designer Collection . There are eyeshadow palettes, individual Super Shock Shadows, princess kits, highlighters, and glosses. Let me know if you’ve tried any of the other products from the collection!
