Rimmel London Oh My Gloss Oil Tint Review Swatches

Hi everyone, today’s post is a review on Rimmel’s new Oh My Gloss! Oil Tints. There are six shades in this new collection for $5.47 each, sold at Walmart. These are not to be confused with Rimmel’s Oh My Gloss Stay Glossy Lip Gloss which have been on the market for a while now.

Rimmel claims that these tints are “ultra-light, non-greasy, non-sticky and non-drying,” which honestly, I have to agree with 100%. The tints contain four oils including: coconut, pomegranate, abyssinian and daikon radish seed; this allows for the product to be extremely moisturizing on the lips. My lips were rather chapped before applying one of these tints and instantly you can feel the hydration. Obviously they aren’t a lip balm so they don’t heal the chapped areas but definitely soothe them.

They are super glossy but not sticky at all which makes sense since they are an oil based product. One of the things I love about all of Rimmel lip products is that they always have the sweetest fragrances and this one is no different. The smell on these tints is rather fruity but I absolutely love it.

I wish Rimmel would release a lip balm or lip repair with this formula because I would buy them all, no joke. The only downside to this product is that it tends to sink into the skin rather quickly so you do have to reapply every hour to two hours, at least that’s what I experienced. If you’re reapplying so frequently, you will use up the product much faster than let’s say one of their lipsticks. The packaging is opaque therefore you won’t be aware of how much product is left.

Overall, I really enjoy the tint that is left behind and the texture of the product. The darker shades do leave a more pigmented tint than the lighter shades. I highly recommend these oil tints! I think just buying one tint would be enough since some do look very similar. The only people I can see who might want to skip these are those who dislike reapplying products and fragrances. Until next time, peace out!
