Contemporary Burgundy Floral Romper*

Spring has officially started which means floral is now in season! Floral dresses, rompers, blouses…floral everywhere! When I was in middle school I absolutely detested wearing floral prints, believe it or not. It wasn’t until senior year of high school that my tastes did a complete 360; I started wearing makeup and I fell in love with floral prints. The romper in this outfit is a beautiful burgundy shade that matched my boots, yes boots once again! I felt that I could use the blue accents in the print to compliment my watch. I felt that a light color purse would bring some brightness and contrast to the overall look.

The sunglasses I’m wearing for this look actually have a funny story behind them. I went with my mother to buy some sunglasses since my old ones were already showing their wear and tear. We went to a Sunglass Hut since there’s always lots of styles and colors. No exaggeration, I ended up trying on every single pair of sunglasses they had at the store because all of them were too large for my face, until I found these. They were the perfect size, didn’t cover my eyebrows, and I finally didn’t look like a ladybug. I’ve owned them for a solid four years and I think I’m going to have to start looking for a new pair soon. I’m really attracted to the cat eye shape glasses that seem to be on trend right now too. Hopefully I don’t have to go through the same mission again this time! Hope you enjoy this look and until next time, peace out!
