Hi everyone! It’s been a while since my last full review. I’ve been busy with work meanwhile trying to keep up on Instagram with pictures and video productions. Anywho, Sigma Beauty just realized a new Skincare Brush Set as you can see above. I wanted to explain a bit more about what they do and what are some great products you can use with them. The set comes with six antimicrobial brushes that are made with fibers and silicone. The brushes are made without Latex, Bisphenol A (BPA), and lead. The set retails for $55 and can be purchased on Sigma Beauty’s website.
S01 Clay/Mud Mask
This brush is used to help spread an even layer of clay, mud, or any other thick mask on the skin. As you can see this brush is flat and made out of silicone. I currently use this brush with the Freeman Hydrating Cream mask.
S15 Gel Mask
This brush is densely packed and perfect for applying any gel masks to the skin. Since it has so many bristles the gel masks do not sink into the brush. One product I’ve been using this brush with is Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Hydrating Overnight Gel Mask.
S05 Moisturizer
I think this is a perfect brush for moisturizer. It’s a large brush which makes it better for covering a larger surface area like your face! I especially use this brush every night with my Shiseido Essential Energy Moisturizing Gel Cream or my Clinique Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator.
S10 Serum
This is a brush that I personally feel can also be used for moisturizer but I use it for serums as intended. The serums I use have different textures and it works well with all of them. Some of the serums I use at the moment are Vichy Minéral 89 and Algenist GENIUS Liquid Collagen.
S20 Eye Cream
This little brush is made for the eyes. I put my eye cream on the very tip of the brush and tap it into my skin. You can sweep the brush over your orbital bone and it will not tug on your skin. In addition, it helps to really reach those inner corners of your eyes. I’ve been using it in conjunction with Origins Plantscription Anti-Aging Power Eye Cream.
S02 Spatula
Lastly, this brush is basically the wild card for me. I use it sometimes with JJ Young’s Pore Bubble Mask. Other times I may use it to mix foundations and facial oils. It’s made out of silicone as well so it’s extremely versatile.
So there you have it! All six brushes from Sigma Beauty’s new Skincare Brush Set. Take 10% off at checkout by using my discount code: GIRLWITHGLAM. Until next time, peace out!
