4 Day Las Vegas Itinerary

Are you headed to Las Vegas?

Well don’t even worry, I have an itinerary ready for you that’s based on a four day trip. This itinerary has a good mix of excursions, sightseeing, and fun for everyone. The absolute best part about taking a trip to Vegas is the proximity of the airport to the Strip. The airport is literally around 15-20 minutes away which is convenient compared to other major cities where the airport is more than 45 minutes away.

I highly suggest you take the first flight out the day you expect to flight out. This will decrease the possibilities of your flight getting delayed and maximize your time on your arrival to Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Hotel Suggestions

The first time I traveled to Vegas I stayed all the way at the end of the strip at The Mandalay Bay. This hotel is absolutely stunning, the pool area is perfect for families, and there’s a variety of entertainment available for all ages. The only downfall to this hotel is that it is the hotel at the end of the strip so you will have to do significant walking to get to the nearby hotels. Mandalay Bay’s pool area is hard to beat because it includes a wave pool and a lazy river which I remember my brother and I loved as young teens. I think these are great amenities for a family visiting who doesn’t mind walking a little extra down the Strip or taking Lyfts every so often. They have the Shark Reef Aquarium which I liked as a teen but now as an adult I went back and it’s honestly not worth the admission price. If you don’t have kids with you, I recommend passing on the aquarium. However, Mandalay Bay houses Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil which you should definitely check out if you have the chance!

I’ve stayed at The Luxor which is the hotel right next to the Mandalay Bay. The rates for this hotel tend to be lower and some of the rooms were recently renovated. I’m not 100% if they’re done with the renovation but I suggest requesting the tower rooms to be safe! The wear and tear is a little more apparent with this hotel which is one of the reasons for the lower price point. If you want a hotel that is just a place to sleep and on the Strip, this is a good option. The entertainment at the Luxor includes The Blue Man Group, Carrot Top, King Tut’s Tomb, and America’s Got Talent.

Another hotel with a lower price point is the The Mirage. This hotel was bought out by Hard Rock and will be closing towards the end of 2023 or early 2024 for reconstruction. If you plan to go to during 2023, this hotel has a great location has it’s located in the center of the Strip. Therefore, walking up and down isn’t as exhausting. The room was clean and looked pretty modern but the casino area looks a little run down. At night the volcano at the front of the hotel erupts at the top of each hour from 7pm-11pm every day. It’s a nice brief show to see at night as you make your way to dinner or taking a night stroll. The entertain you can find here is the The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil and Shin Lim: LIMITLESS.

Lastly, if you’re traveling with a large group with up to twelve people I highly suggest you check out Marriott’s Grand Chateau. It’s a block off the Strip but the rooms are perfect for any big group that wants to stay together. This hotel offers anywhere from 1 bedroom to 3 bedroom villas and let me tell you the rooms are spacious. I stayed there for a bachelorette and it was perfect for all the girls. This hotel is not luxurious like the rest on the strip and it doesn’t have a casino so if these are deal breakers for you check out other hotels on the Strip.

Check out my two videos below featuring room tours of Marriott’s Grand Chateau and The Mirage. Hope this helps! Now onwards with the itinerary.

@girlwithglamsays The Mirage Two Queen Strip View room tour in Las Vegas! This hotel is further up on the strip and actually is currently being in the process of being sold to Hard Rock International. The plan is to completely rebuild this hotel into a guitar and call it Hard Rock Las Vegas by 2025. In the meantime, here’s a room tour if you plan on visiting anytime soon! #lasvegas #lasvegastiktok #roomtour #roomtourcheck #roomtouraesthetic #miragelasvegas #themiragelasvegas #EndlessJourney #MadeWithKeurigContest #lasvegasroomtour #lasvegastrip #lasvegasonabudget #lasvegashotels ♬ Little Dark Age

Day 1 – Explore the Las Vegas Strip

After checking into your hotel it’s time to hit The Strip!

Summer Love Preset Girl with Glam
  • Check out the shops at the The Linq Promenade and grab breakfast at Maxie’s Las Vegas. If you’re a thrill seeker you can zipline or ride the High Roller Observation Wheel.
  • Walk north towards the Venetian and take a gondola ride through the Venetian Canal Shoppes which you will be transported to beautiful Venice, Italy. Get some gelato while you’re there! The gondola rides have two options indoors and outdoors and begin at $32 per person.
  • Cross the street and start making your way to the beautiful Bellagio Hotel. You will pass the The Mirage. Don’t forget to go back after 7PM to see the volcano erupt! As you continue you will find Ceasar’s Palace and its upscale shopping mall called The Forum Shops. Definitely take some time here and maybe grab some lunch at one of the shops at the food court or you might indulge in Mediterranean Cuisine at Bobby Flay’s restaurant called Almafi.
  • Finally you’ll make it to the Bellagio! This hotel is home to the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens which changes each season. These gardens are beyond gorgeous and a perfect picture spot. Beginning at 3pm from Monday-Friday the Bellagio Fountains go off every thirty minutes and dance to the beat of a song. Saturdays & Sundays the shows begin at noon. I definitely recommend watching the fountains a couple of times during your trip during the day and at night. The songs change so you never know what you’re going to get!
  • End the day with a showing of Cirque Du Soleil’s O right there at the Bellagio! This show is one of the only aquatic themed productions by Cirque Du Soleil and I highly recommend it.

Day 2 – Grand Canyon Expedition

  • If you’ve never been to the Midwest of the United States, the Grand Canyon is a MUST do! The easiest two ways to get to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas is through a tour or renting a car and driving.
  • Tours can take you to the west rim or south rim making stops at Hoover Dam, Las Vegas Sign, Lake Mead, and more. The tour I’ve previously taken included lunch at the Grand Canyon.
  • Tours start early in the morning and you get back closer to 5pm. If you decide to go on your own and want a unique experience while you’re there look into a helicopter tour. The tour takes you down to the floor of the canyon for a picnic and you get to see the canyon in a way that many do.
  •  In the evening have dinner and grab a drink at Le Vanderpump Parisien at Paris Las Vegas Hotel. All the food and drinks my friends and I had when we visited were perfect.
  • If you’re a nightlife lover, check out one of the famous Las Vegas night clubs such as Omnia, Marquee, Hakkasan, or Zouk. Check Instagram or TikTok for Las Vegas promoters that can put you and your group’s names on the guest list to save on cover!
@girlwithglamsays The Vanderpump à Paris at the Paris Las Vegas hotel is gorgeous! It is extremely elegant with hints of classic French decor. The food and drinks were exceptional. The Creme Brûlée Beignets were to die for!! This restaurant is the perfect spot for drinks, a date, or even an evening with your girls during your bachelorette party! I highly recommend you stop by and check it out if you’re in Vegas. There’s another Vanderpump in Ceasar’s Palace with a completely different menu so don’t get them confused. This is also a great photo spot for the perfect Instagram picture. #vegastiktok #vanderpumpparis #vegasfood #vegastok #vegasrestaurants #vegasnightout #vegasnights #vegasthingstodo #vegasbacheloretteparty #vegasparty ♬ Luna, amore e no

Day 3 – ATVing During the Desert

  • Get breakfast at Pantry in The Mirage Hotel and get ready for the day.
  • Go ATVing through the sand dunes of Las Vegas with Sunbuggy Rentals. You get picked up at your hotel and get about an hour and a half of off-roading in the sand dunes. With purchase of this tour, we received a t-shirt and a bandana. This tour was one of my favorites and really was like no other.
  • Once you’re back head over to a pool party at Wet Republic, Encore, or Drai’s. You can see famous DJs and artists at these pool parties such as Calvin Harris, Marshmello, Tyga, Diplo, The Chainsmokers, and more.
  • At night, go out to eat at Catch in the Aria hotel. Check out the hotel and the Cosmopolitan which is right next door. These two hotels are must see’s and are some of the most modern developments.
  • If you haven’t had a chance to hit the casinos yet take the time to do that at either of these two hotels. If casinos aren’t your thing, catch a magic show by David Cooperfield or Shin Lim. Perhaps you’d prefer the Blue Man Group’s performance or a concert by one of the many artist that hold residencies on the Las Vegas strip.

Day 4 – Last Day on the Strip

  • If your Grand Canyon tour didn’t take you to the Las Vegas sign, take advantage of your last day and go really early around 7am. This way you can avoid long lines and get your pictures in quickly!
  • If your flight isn’t until late in the evening, you might be able to continue south and make a quick trip to the Seven Magic Mountains.
  • Take the rest of the day to explore hotels such as MGM, Park MGM, New York New York, Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay which are at the end of The Strip.
  • Get lunch at New York New York’s Gallagher’s Steakhouse, Citizens Kitchen & Bar at Mandalay Bay, or Giordano’s Pizza at Bally’s Las Vegas.

And there you have it, my four day itinerary for your next Las Vegas trip.

Hope this itinerary helps and you enjoy your trip to Las Vegas. See y’all in my next post!
