Off The Shoulder Blouse & White Ankle Pant*

Stepping into Sloan’s Ice Cream shop, I couldn’t help but love all the vibrant colors and designs that I saw all around me. The fact that the shop’s main color scheme was pink and it complimented my outfit we had to go take a look. The first main piece is a smocked off the shoulder blouse with bell sleeves. I was originally hesitant to purchase this blouse because of the bell sleeves. I thought they were going to make my arms look three times as big as they actually were; however, when I looked in the mirror I couldn’t stop awing at how elegant the sleeves looked. There are several off the shoulder blouses coming out this season so I definitely want some that stand out from the rest, as this one does.

I paired the blouse with some white ankle pants because who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day right?  The white pants bring a nice brightness to the outfit and does not over power the pastel pink blouse. Today I broke my own rule: match purse with shoes. My purse is a cream color satchel which stays within the color theme I wanted but my heels are black. The idea behind this was to add an element of contrast that would make the outfit complete, and the added strap around the ankle with these heels goes great with the length of the ankle pants. Lastly the statement necklace matched well with the purse and helped tie in the full look. Until next time, peace out!
