Today I bring you a new lip swatch post and I will be updating in a few days with my complete review. These are Rimmel London’s new Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colours. There are 14 shades in the collection ranging from nudes to even a grey so you have a nice variety to chose from in this set. They retail for $5.49! Fresh out of the tube, the lip colours have a mousse texture but once dried they are completely matte and do not transfer. I was actually surprised that I kept kissing my hand and…no trace of the lipstick was ever left behind! I have three shades to share with you guys.

Coola Makeup Setting Spray SPF 30 Review*

*Product was sent for consideration. Contains affiliate links which will result in commission. All thoughts and opinions are my own.*

For the longest time I’ve been looking for an SPF that I can reapply throughout the day and not interfere with my makeup. I previously tried Pixi Beauty’s Skintreats Sun Mist SPF 30 and that was a huge fail to say the least.

So when I received Coola’s Makeup Setting Spray SPF 30 I knew I had to put it to the test. There’s no better way to test a setting spray than to wear it on a long hot day at Disney World which is exactly what I did! I put my makeup on early in the morning around 9am. My makeup consisted of a thin layer of foundation and concealer, blush, mascara, brows, and chapstick. I applied the makeup setting spray at the end. What I really like about this setting spray is that the mist is very fine and it sprays evenly. The packaging recently had a remodel but the ingredients are still the same. Some of the key ingredients are cucumber, aloe vera extracts, and hyaluronic acid. I usually get eye irritation whenever I use anything with cucumber but thankfully I had no problems with this spray.

I never really understood the importance of moisturizing when I was little.  Being scolded by my grandmas and my mother because I didn’t use lotion as much as I should’ve was like a ritual in my home as an early teen. “Your elbows are too dry,” my mom would say to me and I would just pass it off as her exaggerating. It wasn’t until I turned 18 that I realized I had dry skin, how important it was to moisturize, and that I actually should’ve listened when I was younger. Read more…
