The first time I ever heard of Hikari was when I was an IPSY subscriber. IPSY is a beauty subscription that sends out beauty products including: makeup, skincare, and haircare. I received a small Hikari lipstick sample (which I actually still have) in a lovely reddish plum shade. I had never tried anything else from the line until now when they sent me a few items to test out. Among those items were these cream pigments. The packaging is similar to L’oreal Infalliable 24HR Eye shadow. The consistency is a little similar too however these cream pigments from Hikari aren’t as moist to the touch. They swatch beautifully although I did have to swatch Fairytale a few more times compared to the others because the pigment wouldn’t stick. The shade range includes 12 different shadows valued at $13 each. As you can see in the picture above I have nine of them. I love the colors and their vibrancy!
August 1st – August 7th is National Cleanse Your Skin Week! To celebrate I decided to round up my top five cleansers and share them with you. They are not in any particular order since I love them all equally for different reasons.

Today I bring you a new lip swatch post and I will be updating in a few days with my complete review. These are Rimmel London’s new Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colours. There are 14 shades in the collection ranging from nudes to even a grey so you have a nice variety to chose from in this set. They retail for $5.49! Fresh out of the tube, the lip colours have a mousse texture but once dried they are completely matte and do not transfer. I was actually surprised that I kept kissing my hand and…no trace of the lipstick was ever left behind! I have three shades to share with you guys.

For the longest time I’ve been looking for an SPF that I can reapply throughout the day and not interfere with my makeup. I previously tried Pixi Beauty’s Skintreats Sun Mist SPF 30 and that was a huge fail to say the least.
So when I received Coola’s Makeup Setting Spray SPF 30 I knew I had to put it to the test. There’s no better way to test a setting spray than to wear it on a long hot day at Disney World which is exactly what I did! I put my makeup on early in the morning around 9am. My makeup consisted of a thin layer of foundation and concealer, blush, mascara, brows, and chapstick. I applied the makeup setting spray at the end. What I really like about this setting spray is that the mist is very fine and it sprays evenly. The packaging recently had a remodel but the ingredients are still the same. Some of the key ingredients are cucumber, aloe vera extracts, and hyaluronic acid. I usually get eye irritation whenever I use anything with cucumber but thankfully I had no problems with this spray.
