Hi everyone, are you ready for this summer’s most jammed packed drama finally returning for season 2? That’s right, Queen of the South is back on USA Network every Thursday at 10/9c. Queen of the South follows the life of Teresa Mendoza, a very strong woman that is forced out of her luxurious life after her boyfriend is murdered. This drama has loads of action and suspense at every turn and if you’re not caught up, no worries. You can watch Season 1 on Netflix and then watch Season 2 live on Thursdays.
Better yet, invite all your friends to watch Season 2 with you! I’m the #QueenOf recreating different fashion looks seen on some of my favorite shows. So I know for my own watch party I’m going to ask everyone to try and dress like one of their favorite characters or favorite looks from the show. The outfit I chose is probably the most iconic look seen on Teresa, at least in my opinion, her full white outfit. Oh and if you’re going to be Teresa you can’t forget her oversized stylish sunglasses!
Welcome back everyone! If you don’t follow me on Instagram or Snapchat, which you really should, my laptop unfortunately gave up on me. I was without a computer for a little over a week!! I never realized how necessary my computer was until it broke. To keep up with new posts, I bought an adapter that allowed me to import pictures from my camera onto my phone. This little adapter, at a hefty $35 price tag, became my best friend very quickly. I’m just glad to be back and able to upload new posts for you all while trying to get back on track. Today isn’t Friday but I want to bring Fashion Friday a bit earlier since I was unable to post one last week.
This look is really focus on the harem pants that I bought at a local boutique called Xoho Boutique. The harem pants have slits on the sides and they used to have some pearl buttons sewed on the lower end; however, I thought they looked a bit tacky so I removed them. The pants were paired with a floral crop top because we all know I love patterns. A denim vest helped complete the outfit and bring another element to the overall look. Although I could have worn this outfit without it and still felt good.
I have a love hate relationship with sandals just because I prefer closed toed shoes. The sandals in this look are lace ups and caged so they cover most of your feet but you know, still wish they were closed at the front. No big deal though since they still fit nicely with the pants. If you prefer sneakers you could wear some plain white ones, which I actually need to get some because I have every single colored sneakers but white. I’m slacking clearly!
I can’t get enough of reflective sunglasses so I keep using my affordable ones from Forever 21. I need to go purchase some more so I appreciate any recommendations! Well hope you all enjoyed this look and until next time, peace out!

Welcome back everyone! I’m so happy to finally share with you guys this new look I came up with in collaboration with ThredUp. ThredUp is a shop where you can buy and sell secondhand clothes. They provide a description on each item’s condition so that way you have an idea of how it will look like when it arrives. Sometimes the clothes will even have their tags still on them! For this look I chose this red leather skirt from Forever 21 that was being sold on ThredUp for a fraction of the original cost. The skirt was in mint condition, seriously it looked like it hadn’t been used at all.
When I saw this leather skirt I knew I wanted to do a retro glam look. Instantly I was in need of a Coca Cola t-shirt so the search began. My original idea: a white shirt with red letters but only in my dreams would I have found this perfect shirt. After searching high and low for this t-shirt I tried my luck at Target. Unfortunately, they only had some tees for men. So after searching at Target and various other stores, I thought about trying my luck at the Ross that was right next door. I walked to the women’s section and I saw a handful of these Coca Cola tees. Booyah, I was in shirt heaven basically.
Being that the t-shirt was a heather grey, I looked for shoes that matched. I thought these pointy toe pumps from Nine West were exactly what this outfit needed. And of course to top it all off, I needed red lipstick. In this look I am wearing Rimmel’s The Only 1 Matte Lipstick in Call the Shots and on top I put Rimmel’s Oh My Gloss! Oil Tint in Pop Poppy, which I will have full swatches and reviews coming soon.
I hope you enjoyed this cool new look! If you’re doing some Spring cleaning definitely check out ThredUp and make some money selling clothes that you no longer wear or want. I know I will be doing this soon as well. Until next time, peace out!

May is in and April is out which means Mother’s Day is slowly approaching and our seniors will be graduating. What would be better than to give them a brand new watch? JORD Watches is a unique watch company that makes their products out of natural wood. Their watches come in three movements: premium quartz, chronograph, and automatic. The watch I received is from the Reece Series in the Zebrawood finish.
Right off the bat, I was really pleased with the watch style especially since I don’t own any rectangular watches. The watch feels extremely sturdy yet still manages to be lightweight. Fortunately, my watch fit perfectly snug on my wrist and I didn’t need to adjust it. JORD has watch sizing available when placing your order therefore helping you avoid the hassle of sizing your watch when it arrives at your home. In the case that the watch was too tight, I did receive two extra wristband pieces which was great.
Since JORD watches are unique they are incredibly fun to style. I love that the face of the watch is a stunning emerald green so I decided that I would pair it with another similar green item. In this case, I chose an olive cargo mini skirt from Forever 21. Nothing screams Spring more than this floral print off the shoulder blouse that’s also from Forever 21. As you can tell even an outfit like this which includes metallic heels from Agaci can look gorgeous with a JORD watch.
Even better, JORD offers free engraving on their watches which adds that special touch when gifted to your mom or grad. If I had to choose one watch to give to my mom for Mother’s Day it would be Cora Series in Zebrawood and Rosé. Okay Alejandra, but what if I want to buy a watch for a guy? No worries, JORD offers a wide selection of men’s watches too.
Giveaway Details: JORD was kind enough to offer a giveaway for my readers. The giveaway winner will receive a $100 gift code to their store. In addition, anyone who enters will receive a $50 gift code. Either way, everyone who enters wins something! Now to be a winner all you have to do is click here to fill out this form. Simple as pie! Giveaway closes on May 14, 2017 at 11:59PM EST.
Good luck everyone and hope you find some lovely pieces for your friends and family. Until next time, peace out!

Another athleisure look for today’s fashion Friday! You know those days where all you want to wear is comfy clothes, well that’s me a lot of the time to be honest. One of my staple comfy items are these pull-on pants from H&M. If I could wear them every single day, I would. I love how they have an elastic waistband and tapered legs. But wait there’s more, they have pockets! Any piece that has pockets has a soft spot in my heart, especially if it fits my iPhone 7 Plus.
Almost always I wear these pants with some sort of crop top that I tuck into the pants. I hate showing my stomach so my crop tops have to reach at least to my belly button or I wear them with high-waisted jeans. The crop top in this look has an Aztec print that I really love due to my obsession with patterns. I had to keep the black and white theme going with my sneakers. These are the same ones I wore in my Grey Heathered Bodycon Dress post so check it out if you’re interested in seeing another way to style these sneakers.
Can’t complete an athleisure look without a cap so of course I had to include one. This cap is grey which really complimented the whole black and white theme in the rest of the look. These sunglasses are my newest obsessions, I just love how they reflect everything which makes for some cool pictures if I do say so myself. Lastly, my lipstick is Veronica by Anastasia Beverly Hills for all those interested! Until next week, peace out!
