Sports Chic Street Wear*

Have you ever bought a pair of bottoms and realized afterwards that you don’t have the perfect top to match? It happens to all of us at one point or another and to me it happened with these dark purple pants from H&M. I was drawn to them and bought them without even considering what I could possibly wear them with…so after months of trying to wear them with some of the blouses I own, I headed to the mall to find the perfect top. In my search I found this zip-front crop top from Forever 21. I’m usually hesitant about crop tops since they tend to be a little too short and end up showing some skin, however, I couldn’t pass up on this one. The black striped detailing on the sides and the round zipper were the perfect fit for this sports chic look I wanted to capture with these pants. I’m usually not a fan of oddly shaped glasses but this pair that my grandma had actually seemed quite fitting. Surprisingly, I love the sharp edges and the pointed tip giving a similar cat eye effect. I think I’m going to buy some different pairs for myself instead of asking my grandma to borrow them!
